Lore is the rune word 'OrtSol' for helms in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

Lore is an excellent helm considering how easy it is to find the required runes and how low the requirements are. The +1 to all skills and mana after each kill modifiers are very useful for any character. Despite the requirements being easily obtained even in late Normal difficulty, Lore is viable all the way to Hell. However, it offers no bonus to defense, and is eclipsed by some later, much more expensive headgear.
